That question also shaped the Forge, our all-electric development program — a place to explore batteries, thermal systems, motor control and the software that binds them. Forge exists so Éire can learn electrification properly, and that work continues.
But the Eden GT is not a laboratory. It is a grand tourer. And a grand tourer makes a promise no other kind of car makes: go anywhere, on a whim, and arrive wanting more.
The more we developed the Eden, the more honestly we had to weigh that promise. A grand tourer that plans its route around charging stops is keeping only half of it. And a grand tourer without a voice — without mechanical character rising behind you at full throttle — keeps even less.
The Éire Twin-Turbo V8 Hybrid
So the Eden GT will carry a twin-turbo V8 with a plug-in hybrid heart.
Not a V8 with a token battery. Not an electric car with an engine apologizing in the corner. Two serious propulsion systems, each doing what it does best. The electric side delivers silence and instant response — meaningful electric-only driving, enough that daily life may never wake the engine at all. The V8 — a cross-plane V8, chosen for its deep, unmistakable voice — delivers the emotion, the sustained power, and the freedom to cross a country with quick fuel stops.
Torque before the turbos breathe. Silence when you want to slip away unnoticed. Energy recovered instead of wasted. And when you ask for everything, both systems answer at once.
What this means for Éire
